Fidget Slider ("we", "us", or "our") is a reaction speed game available on the web at fidgetslider.com and as a mobile app on Android and iOS. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information needed to run the game and leaderboard:
Anonymous account ID — when you first open the app, we automatically create an anonymous account. No name, email, or password is required.
Username — if you choose to appear on the global leaderboard, you can optionally set a username. This is the only personally identifiable information we store.
Game scores — your scores, game mode, duration, and average score per second are recorded when you complete a game.
Device information — platform (iOS or Android) and app version, used to validate scores and detect cheating.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal information.
How We Use Your Information
To display your scores on the global leaderboard (only if you have set a username)
To track your personal bests per game mode
To validate that scores are legitimate (anti-cheat)
To improve the game
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising targeting.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
Supabase — our backend database and authentication provider. Your anonymous account, username, and scores are stored on Supabase servers. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Google AdMob (mobile app) — we display banner ads in the mobile app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.
Google AdSense (website) — we display ads on the web version of the game. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention
Your anonymous account and scores are retained for as long as you use the app. You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Reset & Start Fresh" option in the Profile screen of the mobile app. This permanently deletes your account, scores, and personal bests.
Children's Privacy
Fidget Slider is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
